This capture is totally great! i'm fond of making cat-shots myself and i know how hard to get a photo of a peacefully lying cat and even harder when the cat lies in such an unusual place! We can only wonder why cats like sleeping in the uncomfortable places so much!
Technically this shot is absolutely lovely - i like the light here, the focus and surely the composition is really great - it really makes the shot balanced and complete in my opinion!
Now a couple of words about the impact - the simple background really adds to the feeling that it's really the typical thing for the cat living in the country to do! And it really is so!
And i always feel extreemely pleased seeing a content cat! And this one seems completely content and enjoying the sun!
